This is the nicest notebook I’ve ever seen. Beautiful craftsmanship. It’s top quality, the cover is sturdy and the pages heavy. Couldn’t ask for better. I was very hesitant to drop that kind of money on a notebook but it feels like an old world hand made book - a piece of art itself.

Received the notebook packaged very well and it felt special unwrapping it. I have many notebooks and fine that many are not as fountain pen friendly as the claim to be. I picked out 8 of my fountain pens with a variety of wet nibs and inks. With several of my pens the nibs had feedback that could be heard other nibs glided over the paper. The paper’s response to various inks was spectacular. No feathering, no bleed through or ghosting. The notebook cover and quality is a cut above most other notebooks. This is a quality product from a book maker that really maker a fountain pen friendly notebook.
I am very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and materials used. I've never been one to journal but now I'm inspired to do so. It also gives me a reason to use and rotate the pens in my small fountain pen collection. I highly recommend these notebooks.
I continue to love the journals that Myburgh is creating! There is no better journal for beauty or quality of paper. This blue cherry blossom Chiyogami paper is a favorite of mine so I was excited when it appeared as a journal cover. The journal is beautifully wrapped and presented. I will say that I have had some bleed-through on this paper depending on what nib and ink I’m using. Making small adjustments in pen and ink is a small matter to be able to write in such a beautiful journal.
The cover color design is amazing, the paper is my favorite to scrawl on using my extra fine nibbed fountain pens.
