All Graystorm Notebooks use smooth 118-gsm/80lb uncoated paper, eliminates feathering and bleed-through, making them the ideal notebook for fountain pen users. Ghosting is minimized due to the 95% opacity, allowing writing on both sides of the page with confidence.

Luxurious Japanese book cloth and silkscreened Japanese Chiyogami decorative paper, is used on the hardcover casing.

The quality craftsmanship is evident in thoughtful additions like a back pocket adorned with decorative paper, an elastic band for secure closure, and a silky ribbon placeholder to keep your place.

Self-evident craftsmanship

This is the finest notebook I have ever had. The cover decoration is a nice diversion from the more minimalistic notebooks I usually use, while still being appealing. The thickness of the paper handles all but the heaviest applications of aggressive fountain pen inks. I hope these notebooks will provide a repository for my ideas and research and will survive long after I am gone.

Amazing Communication, responsivenessfor an incredible product

I don’t respond to fb ads. But for this I made an exception and so glad I did. After the Tomoe River debacle in Japan I was on the hunt for a new fountain pen friendly paper and notebook. I needed to test the paper and it passed my initial review. I love that these notebooks are hand bound and gorgeous.

I have purchased virtually every type of notebook from many, many companies over the years. This notebook is probably the best I've seen. A wonderful gift - esp. for those who love to write

I am a pen and notebook enthusiast.... and our favorite high school graduation gift is a moleskine notebook and a Lamy. This is our level up to the lovely adults in our lives - they have the fountain pens, this is the royalty of notebooks. The paper is thick, smooth and beautiful and the notebook well crafted, perfect size, and is (practically) perfect in every way. Quality and Style

The quality and style of these notebooks are superb. The paper is perfect for fountain pens, and the covers are luxuriously beautiful. They’re well-made and sturdy, yet still elegant and highly functional. I purchased the same style in two different sizes, and I’m already considering going back for a couple more before they disappear.
