All Graystorm Notebooks use smooth 118-gsm/80lb uncoated paper, eliminates feathering and bleed-through, making them the ideal notebook for fountain pen users. Ghosting is minimized due to the 95% opacity, allowing writing on both sides of the page with confidence.
Luxurious Japanese book cloth and silkscreened Japanese Chiyogami decorative paper, is used on the hardcover casing.
The quality craftsmanship is evident in thoughtful additions like a back pocket adorned with decorative paper, an elastic band for secure closure, and a silky ribbon placeholder to keep your place.

The materials used in this notebook are beautiful. I would have given the item 5 stars, but I was disappointed in the orientation of the lined pages. The majority, if not all, of the pages have more blank space below the bottom line on the page rather than above the top line. This might be the way it was intended, but I am accustomed to having the extra space above the top line. It almost appears that the lined pages were inserted upside down. 🤷🏼 Just a small irritant in what is overall a nice notebook.
Hands down this is my favorite notebook! T he craftsmanship is unparalleled. I had high expectations when I ordered from Graystorm, and the notbooks which arrived were better than I could have imagined. These are truly a pleasure to write in!
