I don’t respond to fb ads. But for this I made an exception and so glad I did. After the Tomoe River debacle in Japan I was on the hunt for a new fountain pen friendly paper and notebook. I needed to test the paper and it passed my initial review. I love that these notebooks are hand bound and gorgeous.
I have purchased virtually every type of notebook from many, many companies over the years. This notebook is probably the best I've seen. The quality of construction, the overall design, the paper quality, etc. are top notch. The notebook is substantial and has a heft to it that makes it very durable. This is now my go to notebook.
Myburgh creates the most beautiful, elegant notebooks anywhere. I use his notebooks for my daily morning journals, and as an avid writer, it such a pleasure to own such an amazing notebook, with paper that works flawlessly with my fountain pens. Bravo!

I am a pen and notebook enthusiast.... and our favorite high school graduation gift is a moleskine notebook and a Lamy. This is our level up to the lovely adults in our lives - they have the fountain pens, this is the royalty of notebooks. The paper is thick, smooth and beautiful and the notebook well crafted, perfect size, and is (practically) perfect in every way. A gorgeous notebook that makes the recipient feel spoiled (so they say) in all the best ways. : ).
The quality and style of these notebooks are superb. The paper is perfect for fountain pens, and the covers are luxuriously beautiful. They’re well-made and sturdy, yet still elegant and highly functional. I purchased the same style in two different sizes, and I’m already considering going back for a couple more before they disappear.
I must say that I felt like I’d won a prize opening my package. And I’m keeping the note closed with sealing wax (that just took me back decades when I’d do the same). The book is as elegant as I’d hoped. I cannot wait to begin!
