All Graystorm Notebooks use smooth 118-gsm/80lb uncoated paper, eliminates feathering and bleed-through, making them the ideal notebook for fountain pen users. Ghosting is minimized due to the 95% opacity, allowing writing on both sides of the page with confidence.

Luxurious Japanese book cloth and silkscreened Japanese Chiyogami decorative paper, is used on the hardcover casing.

The quality craftsmanship is evident in thoughtful additions like a back pocket adorned with decorative paper, an elastic band for secure closure, and a silky ribbon placeholder to keep your place.

Above and beyond in customer service

I ordered the B5 192-page Hardcover Notebook finished in Yellow Gold Japanese Bookcloth and Yellow and Black Honeycomb Chiyogami Japanese Paper. The original that was sent had a bit of hand-made "character." This was deemed as unacceptable by the creator (certainly not by me) and I was sent a replacement book.

The replacement was the B5 192-page Hardcover Notebook finished in Ochre Japanese Bookcloth and White Polka Dots on Green Chiyogami Japanese Paper, which was absolutely perfect in every way.

Both books are of the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship, and the customer service was extraordinary.

From the online photo, I knew my new notebook would be lovely. But holding the real thing you can really appreciate the craftsmanship and materials. It makes writing an aesthetic experience. Notebook for Recording Beautiful Memories
