These journals are fantastic! They are beautifully made and very good quality inside and out. My wife and I love to use fountain pens and the paper is perfect for the ink. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a journal that you will treasure.

The Graystorm Studio Team are craftspeople in the truest sense of the word. They are consummate professionals in terms of both order fulfillment and customer service. However, what makes them truly special is that they create functional works of art. These journals are heirloom quality, and at least for me, inspire me to elevate my prose, handwriting, and sketches to match the gravitas of these notebooks. Long ago, while growing up near Seattle, I struggled with dysgraphia, yet eventually took-up Italic Lettering with an Osmiroid Pen, and later, as an architect, I would do field pen & ink sketching with my Mont Blanc Diplomat. So, while I am a fan of fountain pens and fine paper for them, I have evolved into being a painter with a brush. Some years ago, while visiting an artist friend in Paris, he gave me one of his Mont Blanc pens. Since we will soon be visiting him, I sought out Graystorm Studio for this wonderful hand-made sketchbook as a gift (on the strength of what I saw on an Instagram posting).

Quality of product and workmanship matches what I had heard before purchase -- Graystorm Studio is simply one of the best. I bought B5 notepads with lined paper. I love that the lines are not prominent and are there to guide writing rather than calling attention to themselves. I had seen lined paper in other hardcover notebooks where the lines were thick and/or very dark. For a few months now, I’ve been looking for a notebook that I’d feel comfortable using for longer-term journaling—something to capture more “permanent” thoughts and reflections. I considered many other brands, but Graystorm Studio notebooks were the only ones that check off all my requirements.
